5 vegan cosmetics brands that you can buy in Spain
And the products that you cannot miss from each of them.
A few decades ago being vegan in our country was an odyssey but, fortunately it is no longer like that: delicious food at our disposal and more and more brands of vegan cosmetics (effective and appetizing) are available in Spain. The list we could make is quite long. However, to start, we are going to talk about some of our favorite cosmetics brands without animal ingredients.

But it's not the same?Well, not exactly.Let's move on to definitions.
Vegan: vegan cosmetic products do not use animal ingredients and are not tested in animals (therefore they are also 'cruelty free').
Cruelty Free: They are considered cosmetics 'cruelty free' those who have not been tested in animals. However, attention, that marketing does not lead us to confusion. In Europe there is a law that prohibits tests with animals, therefore, all cosmetics produced in our continent are 'cruelty free'.The conflict appears when a brand markets its products in China, since in that country it is necessary to test in animals to sell.Another note: a product can be 'cruelty free' but not vegan. They may not have tried the product in animals but use products of animal origin such as lanolina or cholesterol (sheep wool derivatives), lactoperoxidase (an enzyme derived from cow's milk) or beew wax, among many others. For this reason, many vegan people consider that if a product is not vegan, it continues to contain cruelty against animals.
As we said, Spain is every time a much more 'vegan-friendly' country."I don't have a hard time finding vegan cosmetics as 10 or 15 years ago, that I barely made up for the lack of options (vegan and without testing in animals). Now it's much easier and there are even specialized online stores like Vegala. The little I know of cosmetics I have learned with her, "explains Paula González Carracedo, founder and director of the communication agency The Vegan Agency."There are many more makeup options and 'skincare'.I work with media and magazines of 'Lifestyle' and every month you include vegan things in cosmetics and beauty products that greatly facilitate the life of agencies and readers.I also love brands that use natural ingredients although I have not yet found a brand that gets the red tones that they do in Kat von D."
Yes, friend, we are in luck, in addition to wonderful specialized stores we can find vegan products in large spaces such as Sephora, Douglas, Druni, Primor...And of course, online. We suck the brands we love.
Skintegra is a brand of treatments made in Croatia that has become one of the favorites of the Spanish Skinfluencers' (that is, those who know most about cosmetics). All its products are vegan and its focus is to create technologically advanced and mega formulas without unnecessary ingredients designed to treat even the most problematic skin.Cleansing, serums, moisturizing creams, tonic, eye contours and sun protection for complete care of your skin so that it is as healthy and beautiful as possible.
"All our formulas are vegan and free of animal cruelty. We do not distribute the products to countries in which animal tests remain a sad reality. In fact, we have done more when associating with local animals shelters.Every year, we donate part of our profits to abandoned animals and care for several non -profit animals, "they explain from the brand."Last but not least, we donate our products annually to women and children in Croatian Safe Casas. You can think that this is trivial, but think about it again.Having a sense of normality and self -care is the beginning of the healing that we want so much for people who are in a difficult situation."
