Make your rims shine

To make your tires look good and look good again, aluminum or other material rims need to be cleaned. The worst enemy of cleaning the rims is the dust produced by the brake pads.

There are classic cleaners that deposit a protective film so that dirt does not adhere, and there is also a more natural method with a more ecological cleaner: the famous white vinegar.

What do you have to do to make your tires shine naturally? This is a simple method:

  1. Spray it directly onto the rim and onto a clean rag
  2. Then rub the rim with the rag until you see your reflection on the wheel
  3. Finally, rinse it off with clean water

Clean and shiny rims always add an eye-catching touch to a car, especially when paired with stylishly designed tyres.

Use a suitable product for interior plastics

It is not easy to clean the plastic of the interior compartment, and an inappropriate product can leave traces and can poorly remove accumulated dust. The window cleaner can be a solution that will serve to do a basic cleaning simply to remove dust. Like the natural solution of a sponge dipped in soapy water that will later have to be rinsed, except for the buttons and electronics! Remember to always wipe with a clean, soft cloth to dry. And if not, specialized products for cars made with vegetable waxes are doubly effective on dashboard and door plastics:

A green tip: To make your car's plastic interior shine, you can wipe with fabric softener or olive oil (but not the gear stick, or the steering wheel).

A solution for every stain

How do you clean car seats? As soon as a stain is made, it must be cleaned immediately because otherwise it can be embedded forever in the fabric or leather of the seat.

How do you remove a stain from seats? It all depends on the stain:

Remember to rinse after cleaning without over-wetting to make drying easier. Special products for cars sold in large stores or in car maintenance stores are very effective but are more expensive. And they're made with chemicals that aren't always safe to breathe!

The last thing to do is air out the car for your health. Renew the air inside as regularly as possible when you circulate. Contaminants are concentrated in the small and enclosed space of a vehicle, and the level of nitrogen dioxide can be very high.

Cleans the bodywork without leaving streaks

It is necessary to wash the bodywork regularly to maintain the shine of the paint. But it can be expensive to buy a product for each function: cleaning, polishing, waxing... You don't need liters and liters of water or spend a lot of money to wash your car well. You need a dry rag, a clean sponge, a bucket of water with black soap or linseed oil or baking soda. Clean the body of your car and, at the end, replace the dirty water with water slightly mixed with white vinegar to prevent limescale from appearing.

And if you really want to protect the body of your car, you can use a polish and wax to complement your car wash. This can make the varnish last longer and avoid the inevitable small scratches.

A little trick: in specialized stores you will find some transparent adhesive strips that protect from scratches. These bands are glued to the doors, mirrors, bumpers... in short, to the very exposed parts when we try to park in underground car parks, for example.

Clean the windshield at home

Windshields and windows, which are essential for safe driving, have to give the impression of being transparent to see the road clearly. Like all glass surfaces, a window cleaner is sufficient to thoroughly clean the front windscreen, rear window and side windows. Spray product directly onto surfaces or a clean cloth, then rub gently. We advise you to follow the direction of the defrost marks on the rear window so as not to damage it.

And don't forget to clean the mirrors and optics (turn signals, headlights, etc.)!

A little trick: just like at home, you can finish cleaning with newspaper.

Dust the car carpet

Can't you vacuum your car mats and carpet thoroughly at home? What you can do is shake the mats to remove all the dirt and hair from your pet. For stains, see above, because they are the same maintenance solutions.

A little trick: a damp mitt or cloth is effective at picking up hair and stubborn dirt.
