The Sheriff's office said the investigation "remains open and active" and no charges have been submitted.
The authorities issued a registration order for the property where the movie "Rust" was being filmed and will carefully review it during the weekend, Sheriff's spokesman for Santa Fe County, Juan Ríos, told CNN.
