"Positivity in the Metropolitan Region - which houses the capital and where 8 million people live - is 1% and 15 regions have a positivity less than or equal to 1%," said the Undersecretary of Public Health, Paula Daza Daza Daza.
A positivity rate (Coronavirus positive results per 100 tests carried out) less than 5% for two weeks in a row is one of the epidemiological criteria established by the World Health Organization (WHO) to assume the pandemic.
"We are in a very favorable situation, however we must continue taking care of it," Daza added.
