It is true that eyebrow trends are constantly changing, but having some basic tips to shape them, whichever you decide, is essential if you want to avoid any flaux pas. When it comes to a lake as important as the frame of our gaze, it is essential to make sure that everything will turn out as expected, since when something does not go well it can take six weeks or more to grow back.

One of the basic tips that expert Kristie Streicher gives to take care of your eyebrows when shaping them is that the first step before plucking or doing anything else is to brush them. When someone like the beauty and personal care specialist gives a recommendation like that, she has our full attention, as she is responsible for many of the most beautiful forms of Hollywood.

Based in a beauty studio in Beverly Hills, she has specialized in the 'Feathered Brow' technique, a style of eyebrows that, as her name indicates, are inspired by feathers. These aim for fluffy shapes where the hairs follow their natural shape. In the most dramatic way they can look in all directions, but for the more subtle versions they follow the shape of the arch and are combed slightly upwards. This style is totally inclusive and works for all shapes and sizes.

How to get feathered eyebrows?

Many techniques have emerged to make this area look more hairy, such as the trending hyper-realistic eyebrows that sought to provide an alternative to microblading. However, if you are not interested in learning about needles or implants, then using Kristie Streicher's advice will be ideal for you. Even getting these feathered bows from home can be easier than you think.

If you have very thin eyebrows or you would like them to be more abundant, you should start by avoiding plucking them for six to eight weeks (something that can be really hard, it is true). As detailed by the expert, shaving in this time frame (and never before), trains the hair to grow in the same cycle and is the best way to increase them in areas where they have become very thin or practically non-existent.

The second step that is of the utmost importance: before waxing you must brush. Use a brush and slowly comb from the center outwards, sharply upwards, so that the ends of the hairs are raised facing outwards. What you want to achieve is that the hair also fluffs up, lifting and increasing the volume. Go through the arch and respect its natural shape until you get the desired fade. Only then will it be time to remove what you don't want. You can also help yourself with scissors to cut it out.

If you need to define or fill in, you can help yourself with an eyebrow pencil to do it. The key is that you start with very small strokes, only in the areas where it is necessary. Apply the product with gentle upward movements from the edge to the center, that is, from the least populated area to the most. If you feel like you're going too far, you can use the brush again to blur the lines.
