Although Dallas is under 'code red' due to covid-19 infections, Univision and Uforia's "Latino Mix Live" event will take place on Thursday.
Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins announced Tuesday night that the county has raised the coronavirus threat level to red in response to the rising trend in COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations.
According to the red risk code, attending massive events such as concerts is not recommended.
Despite the situation in Dallas and other Texas cities, the Latino Mix Live concert will take place on August 5.
Proof of the covid-19 vaccine will not be requested to enter the event, the use of masks will not be mandatory, however they will offer free masks at the entrances of the premises and attendees are encouraged to use them. Likewise, there will be medical tents to serve the people who attend the event, as reported by Univision through a press release.

Univision added that all staff, artists, the production team and suppliers will be required to take rapid tests for covid-19 on the premises and that they will be provided with personal protective equipment.
The Latino Mix Live will be attended by artists such as: J Balvin, Wisin, Ozuna, Rauw Alejandro, CNCO, Camilo, Kali Uchis and Chesca, among others.
“The health, safety and well-being of the show's audience, staff and performers is our priority. We are taking precautions to create a safe environment for all those who attend our outdoor concert,” reported Univision.
The event will take place at the Dos Equis Pavillon in Dallas, which has a capacity for 20,000 people, and on Saturday, August 7, it will continue at BBVA Stadium in the city of Houston.
Latino Mix Live performances in Dallas will also be broadcast on UforiaMusic.com, Uforia's social media platforms and social media accounts of select Uforia radio stations.
