They say that it is never too late if the joy is good and precisely this is what we feel since Apple has activated the possibility of unlocking the iPhone although we carry a mask in the face.This new function comes with the latest stable version of its operating system, iOS 14.5 And requires having an updated Apple Watch to Watchos 7.4.
Once we have verified that both devices have their updated software to the required version, we will see what you have to do to activate the new telephone unlocking function from the clock.
First, open your iPhone and access the general adjustments within the app with the dentated wheel icon.Within the main adjustments of the Hacoll Telephone on the screen until you reach the "Face ID and Code" option.Click on this option and enter your unlock code when required to access the following menu.
Within this section you can manage everything related to facial recognition on your iPhone and if you slide your finger down on the screen, you will see a new option that says "unlock with the Apple Watch".This option has on its right a sliding tab that, if you slide it to the right, you will activate the new function.When you have done it you will see that the eyelet turns green.Then leave the settings and suspend your iPhone by clicking on the unlock button.
You will see that when trying to unlock it, you will get a notification to your Apple Watch (you must take it and be loaded to work) that says "XXX iPhone unlocked with this Apple Watch" and your phone will be unlock.
In the event that you do not want to unlock it from the clock at that time you can press the "block iPhone" button that the wearable shows you on the screen.Automatically the phone will be completely blocked.
This function is completely safe, so we should not fear that the phone is unlocked being in our pocket or bag or that someone who is close to us takes advantage to try to access our iPhone without our permission.The reason why it is so reliable is simple: it is only activated when the phone detects our face with open eyes and with a mask.
