Sirey Morán won 'Nuestra Belleza Latina' | El Nuevo Herald Sirey Morán is the first Honduran to win the crown of 'Nuestra Belleza Latina'

After being the winner of all the challenges that each night gave her, Sirey Morán, a 31-year-old Honduran girl, won the crown of Nuestra Belleza Latina 2021, the Univisión reality show that has occupied twelve editions in each season primetime on Sundays.

Sirey studies journalism in New York and is the first Honduran to be crowned after facing 6,000 girls of multiple nationalities with whom, under the motto "a queen is not born, she is made," she fought face to face in Auditions.

His resume highlights the conducting of a sports-themed television program from his country.

“Obtaining the Nuestra Belleza Latina crown is a great blessing. But more than (the pride) of having a crown on my head, this (recognition represents) the strength of the Latino, the Latino who comes to the United States to fulfill a dream risking everything, which is really what I experienced (by) leaving a I work (running) that risk if I could win,” Sirey, who describes herself as a very persevering woman, told el Nuevo Herald. “It doesn't matter how old you are or how many doubts you have in your head. Effort and perseverance is what will allow us to achieve our dreams”.

The reality show has the purpose of adding the chosen one to the talents of Univision, as happened with Alejandra Espinoza, Francisca Lachapel, Mignelis Castellanos and Ana Patricia Gámez, among other figures that have refreshed the image of the chain.

Referring to the multiple challenges she was assigned each day, the young woman confessed that none of them were easy. “All the challenges were difficult,” said Sirey, after recalling that when she had to interview Don Francisco felt very nervous because all Latinos have grown up watching him on television. "But all the challenges were difficult, especially the dance ones, because, as I've always said, I'm not the best dancer."

The effort to improve each day made Sirey the undisputed queen of the competition, a place that was disputed until the last moment by the Cuban Fabien de la Concepción, dental assistant, who obtained second place, and the Mexican textile engineer Lupita Valero, who was in third.

The musical part of the show was provided by Pitbull, Gloria Trevi and Christian Nodal. The Venezuelan Migbelis Castellanos, Nuestra Belleza Latina 2018, was in charge of crowning the new queen.

The program was hosted by Alejandra Espinoza.

The jury was made up of the presenter and actress Giselle Blondet, the humorist Adal Ramones, the presenter of the show business gossip space of Sal y Pimienta Jomari Goyso and the host Daniella Álvarez.

The season also included the singer, model and actress Amara La Negra, who in addition to being in charge of the mansion where the contestants stayed, presented surprises every week.

For her part, Migbelis Castellanos served as a digital reporter for the space.

“My big dream is to graduate in journalism and grow in communications, an opportunity that Univision is giving me. I want to continue growing because in life one never stops learning”, concluded Sirey.
