Crecimiento exponencialEn 1994 nace la Facultad de Citohistología ante la gran demanda de auxiliares de laboratorio clínico y análisis de muestras, en 1997 el Ministerio de Educación solicita a la FUCS incluir el programa de Medicina en su oferta académica, iniciado con una cohorte de 19 estudiantes, que al siguiente año aumentó a 40 y a la fecha, cuenta con más de 100 estudiantes solo en su primer semestre; al tiempo que empezaban, se mantenía el liderazgo en posgrados médico quirúrgicos, que para el año 2000 eran 18 y hoy son 50, brindando el 20% de todos los especialistas que se forman en nuestro país.In 2008, after a process of acquiring the closed Childrennumber of quotas in their pre and postgraduate programs and strengthen pediatric specializations.Insurance of its quality standards, the FUCS started in 2006 the volunteer processes of high quality accreditation presenting as the first program to nursing, one of its undergraduate pioneers, which would open the way to others such as medicine, surgical instrumentation and cytohistology that, in the following years, they also received from the National Accreditation Council, its high quality certificates.In 2010, the Faculty of Social and Administrative Sciences opens and in 2016 its hospitals achieve historical milestones receiving from the Ministries of Education and Health and Social Protection, the recognition of university hospitals, adding to the short list of this type of hospitals thatUntil then it did not reach ten, this being a guarantee seal for the training of its students.Faithful to its culture of excellence and continuous improvement, in 2019 the University Foundation of Health Sciences -
