The Madhya Pradesh Agency for Promotion of Information Technology (MAP IT) has released the **CPCT Admit Card 2026** on 7 November 2026 on the official portal cpct.mp.gov.in. Candidates who registered for the November 2026 session of the Computer Proficiency Certification Test (CPCT) can now download their hall ticket through the candidate login. The **CPCT examination will be held on 13, 14 and 15 November 2026** at test centres across Madhya Pradesh. Candidates must check the reporting time, gate closing time and exam start and end time printed on their own admit card, because MAP IT has changed these timings for this session. Read the instructions on the admit card carefully before the exam day.

CPCT is a computer-proficiency certification test, not a recruitment. There are no vacancies attached to this test and no appointment follows from it. The test certifies a candidate’s computer proficiency and typing skills in Hindi and English, and the CPCT scorecard is required for data entry, IT operator, Assistant Grade-3, steno and typist posts in Madhya Pradesh government departments. The scorecard is valid for 7 years from the date of the examination. Candidates who appeared in earlier sessions should note that this admit card is only for the November 2026 session — the exam dates are 13, 14 and 15 November 2026.

No fee is payable at the admit card stage. The hall ticket is downloaded free of cost through the official CPCT portal. The application fee for the November 2026 session was Rs 660, paid at the time of registration.

CPCT is a certification test and carries no vacancy count. No post-wise or category-wise vacancy table applies to this examination. Candidates take the test to obtain a CPCT scorecard, which is then used as an eligibility document when applying for computer and typing-based posts in Madhya Pradesh government departments, such as Data Entry Operator, IT Operator, Assistant Grade-3, Stenographer and Typist.

Only candidates who registered for the CPCT November 2026 session during the application window of 12–25 October 2026 can download this admit card. The minimum educational qualification for CPCT is passing the Higher Secondary (12th) examination from a recognised board, or holding a Polytechnic Diploma after Class 10. Candidates must have completed 18 years of age on the date of registration. There is no upper age limit for the test. Candidates must check that their name, registration details, exam date, reporting time and exam centre printed on the admit card match their registration before the exam day.

Candidates must have completed 18 years of age on the date of registration. No upper age limit is prescribed for the CPCT. The age condition was verified at the time of registration and is not re-checked at the admit card stage.

Not applicable. CPCT is a certification test and carries no pay scale, salary or appointment. Pay and allowances apply only to the government posts for which the CPCT scorecard is later used, and those are fixed in the recruitment notification of the post concerned.

CPCT is a single computer-based certification test. There is no interview, document verification or merit list for the test itself.

  1. Computer Based Test — MCQ module and typing test in Hindi and English (13, 14 and 15 November 2026)
  2. Scorecard — issued to candidates who qualify in each module; valid for 7 years from the date of the examination

To qualify, a candidate must score at least 50% in each module of the test. The scorecard is then used as proof of computer proficiency when applying for eligible government posts in Madhya Pradesh.

The CPCT is a computer based test with two parts — an MCQ module and a typing test. As per the CPCT Rule Book, a candidate qualifies a module with 50%: 38 marks in the MCQ module, and a typing speed of 30 net words per minute (NWPM) in English or 20 NWPM in Hindi.

Candidates must qualify in each module separately. The exact number of questions, marks and duration for this session are printed in the instructions on the admit card and in the CPCT Rule Book on the official portal — candidates must read them before the exam. Mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators and Bluetooth devices are not allowed inside the exam hall.

Carry the printed admit card and an original valid photo ID proof. Entry to the exam centre can be refused without them, and candidates who arrive after the gate closing time printed on the admit card will not be allowed in.
