Enter your bank account details correctly in the form, because the refund is credited there. Candidates should confirm the exact fee on the official portal before paying.

The total of 97 is the sum of the post-wise figures; the vacancies are provisional and may change as per requirement. Most posts are at SDSC SHAR, Sriharikota (Andhra Pradesh); some Technician posts are also at the Propellant Complex, Rasayani (Maharashtra) and BRLS, Balasore (Odisha); the LVD post code 30 is at ADRIN, Secunderabad (Telangana). Candidates applying for post codes with two locations must give their order of preference. Selected candidates are liable to be posted to any ISRO / Department of Space centre, with all-India transfer liability. Candidates should confirm the post-wise and category-wise distribution in the official notification.

  1. Written Test: An online Computer Based Test (CBT) for all posts.
  2. Skill Test: For Technical Assistant, Scientific Assistant, Library Assistant ‘A’, Technician ‘B’, Draughtsman ‘B’ and Nurse ‘B’ — qualifying in nature on a go-no-go basis (marks not counted in the final merit).
  3. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) + Detailed Medical Examination (DME): For Fireman ‘A’ only, in two stages on a go-no-go basis.
  4. Skill Test (drivers): For LVD ‘A’ and HVD ‘A’, with a minimum of 60 percent for all categories.
  5. Final merit: Prepared in order of written test marks, up to the notified vacancies. In case of a tie, the academic score of the essential qualification is the first tie-breaker.

For most posts the skill test is purely qualifying — the final panel depends only on written test marks. Multi-Tasking Staff is selected through the written test alone, with no skill test.

Qualifying marks in the written test: 32 out of 80 for Unreserved candidates (24 out of 80 for Reserved candidates, only against reserved posts) for the 80-mark papers; for MTS, 50 percent for Unreserved / EWS, 45 percent for OBC and 40 percent for other reserved categories. Unattempted questions carry no penalty. The CBT will be held in 18 cities — Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Dehradun, Guntur, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Patna, Thiruvananthapuram, Tirupati and Visakhapatnam — subject to a minimum number of candidates.

Applications without the required uploads are treated as invalid. Originals of all certificates must be shown at the skill test or document verification.
