The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the marks of the 66 recommended candidates of the Combined Geo-Scientist Examination 2026 on 30 October 2026. The marks are published as a six-page PDF on the official website upsc.gov.in. The document gives the written examination marks, Personality Test marks and final total marks for each recommended candidate, service group by service group. Read the notification for eligibility, selection process, pay scale and all other information.

This marks document is separate from the final result. The final result, declared on 16 October 2026, gives the merit list of candidates recommended for appointment against 69 vacancies. The marks PDF gives the individual scores of those 66 recommended candidates. Candidates should check both documents: the final result for their recommendation status and the marks PDF for their scores.

The marks PDF contains separate sections for six service groups. Each entry in the document shows the candidate’s serial number within the service group, name, roll number, written examination total (WTOT), Personality Test marks (P.T) and final total (FTOT), along with community category and date of birth where applicable.

The figures above are the number of candidate entries appearing in the official marks document for each service group. Combined service headings should not be read as individual post-wise vacancy allocations.

The final total is the sum of the written examination total and the Personality Test marks.

Final Total = Written Examination Marks + Personality Test Marks. For example, a candidate with 580.49 written marks and 146 Personality Test marks has a final total of 726.49 marks.

Important: the official document displays only recommended candidates’ marks. Candidates who are not in the recommended list should not assume that their individual marks are available in this PDF.

The table below gives the first-listed candidate in each service-group section of the official marks document, as reported from the document. These are the first entries in each section, not a common cut-off across different disciplines.

Candidates should not interpret the final marks of any listed candidate as the official cut-off. UPSC publishes cut-off information separately.
