Knowledge of GST and Ind AS is desirable for Manager (Finance) and Deputy Manager (Finance). Preference is given to Ph.D. in Hindi for Manager (Raj Bhasha), and an additional Post Graduate degree in Law is preferred for Deputy Manager (Law). The essential qualification, except CA and CMA, should be of minimum two years’ duration for all posts except Deputy Manager (Law). If a certificate does not mention a specialisation, the candidate should furnish a certificate from the university or institute specifying the required specialisation. Qualifications may be full-time, part-time, regular or distance, from an institution recognised by UGC / AICTE or an Indian or foreign institution granted equivalence by AIU; NPCC decides equivalence, and its decision is final.
Candidates in regular or contractual service on a pay scale in NPCC, other government or semi-government organisations, PSUs, autonomous bodies or government institutions need at least 2 years in the next below pay scale. Contractual staff on consolidated remuneration in these bodies, and candidates from the non-government or private sector, should have drawn the equivalent CTC for at least two years on the cut-off date. The below-scale and CTC requirements are: General Manager — 80000-220000 (IDA) / PB Level 13 (CDA) / Scale-V, or Rs. 23.91 lakh per annum; Manager — 40000-140000 (IDA) / Level 9 (CDA) / Scale-I, or Rs. 11.96 lakh per annum; Deputy Manager — 30000-120000 (IDA) / Level 6 (CDA), or Rs. 8.97 lakh per annum. Candidates claiming CTC must give Form 16 signed by an authorised officer, if applicable. The two-year requirement does not apply to candidates already in the same scale or above.
Selection Process
- Shortlisting on the basis of qualification, experience and the below-scale / CTC criteria
- Personal Interview, or any other appropriate method decided by NPCC depending on the response received
- Offer of Appointment after final selection, subject to medical fitness
NPCC’s decision on the selection procedure is final. Meeting the criteria and applying does not give a right to be called for interview. Selected candidates will be on probation for one year, may be required to serve in any part of India or abroad, and must be found medically fit by an approved government hospital or medical board.
Exam Pattern
To be notified in the detailed notification — NPCC will decide the selection procedure (Personal Interview or another appropriate method) depending on the response received. No written-exam pattern has been prescribed for this advertisement.
