Eligibility Criteria
The same post name at different levels carries different qualifications, pay and age. Match your level, not just the name. A degree must be full time only where its row says so, and agriculture or horticulture degrees need ICAR-recognised institutions.

| Deputy Director-Finance | CA, Cost Accountant or full-time MBA (Finance); 10 years experience, 7 in a supervisory or managerial role in a Government Department, PSU or NGO |
| State Program Manager | 2-year full-time PG in Horticulture or Agriculture, or 2-year full-time MBA in Agri Marketing or Agribusiness; 5 to 7 years experience, and district-level experience is mandatory |
| State Technical Horticulture Officer | Full-time graduate in Horticulture or Agriculture (PG preferred); 3 years in horticulture development, extension, nursery, protected cultivation, post-harvest, floriculture or vegetable production |
| State Manager Finance & Admin | M.Com, CA (Inter) or 2-year full-time MBA; 2 years experience |

| Block Program Manager | Graduate in Agriculture or Horticulture (full-time PG desirable); no experience stated in the pages checked |
| Assistant-cum-DEO (HQ and District) | Full-time graduate with ADCA, or full-time BCA or B.Sc (IT); 2 years experience |
| Assistant-cum-DEO (Block) | Full-time graduate with ADCA, or full-time BCA or B.Sc (IT); 1 year experience |
The Block Program Manager post is the entry point and the only manager post that asks for no experience in the pages checked. A State Program Manager must have prior district-level experience, and a District Program Manager and Thematic Expert must have prior block-level experience — experience letters are therefore essential documents for those posts.
Age Limit
| Three Deputy Director posts | 35 to 50 years |
| State Program Manager, State MIS Officer, Documentation-cum-KM Officer, Accountant (HQ and District), District Program Manager, Thematic Expert | 30 to 45 years |

| State Manager Finance & Admin | 25 to 40 years |
| Assistant-cum-DEO (all levels) | 25 to 35 years |
| Block Program Manager | 21 to 30 years |
Age limits are as on 4 December 2026. The pages checked contain no age relaxation clause, so treat these limits as firm unless the full notification says otherwise. Work out your exact age on 4 December 2026, not on the day you apply.
Salary / Pay Scale
All pay is consolidated and fixed, with no pay level or grade pay, plus a 5% performance-linked increment every year.

Selection Process
- Provisional list of eligible candidates and rejected applications published on the website.
- Written exam and/or interview — a written exam is held only where applications exceed 15 times the vacancies for a post.
- Final list ranked on merit, the sole basis of selection, with a category-wise waiting list of twice the vacancies, valid for one year from its publication.
If marks tie, the older candidate ranks higher, followed by higher written exam marks where an exam was held, and then the name that comes first alphabetically. No TA/DA is paid for the interview. Do not assume a written exam will happen — popular block posts may see one while a Headquarters post may not.
Exam Pattern
To be notified in the detailed notification. The pages checked state no exam pattern or syllabus. Watch the recruitment portal for exam notices after the application window closes.
Documents Required
- Photograph and signature as per portal specifications
- Educational qualification certificates and mark sheets
- Experience certificates (mandatory for manager and expert posts that require prior district or block-level experience)

- Disability certificate (40% or more) for PwD benefit
- Printed application form, self-attested copies of documents, fee receipt and signed checklist for the hard-copy submission
