Eligibility Criteria
Applications are invited from serving or retired personnel of the Indian Army / Navy / Indian Air Force, Karnataka State Police Department, CAPF / CRPF / BSF / CISF and other allied equivalent services, for security and related works in Metro stations and depots of the Operation & Maintenance Wing.
As per the official notification, candidates must be serving or retired personnel in the rank of Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) or equivalent from Defence services, or in the rank of Inspector / Sub Inspector / ASI or equivalent from the State Police Department. Serving military personnel who are due to retire on or before 31/12/2026 may also apply. Knowledge of Kannada is mandatory for all candidates. This position is advertised for external candidates only — internal employees of BMRCL, including regular, contract and outsourced employees, are not eligible to apply.

Allowances are applicable as per the rules of the Company. The tenure of contract appointment is initially 3 years for candidates below 60 years of age and 1 year for candidates above 60 years of age, extendable based on performance and BMRCL requirements. The contract may be terminated by either side by giving 3 months’ notice (below 60 years) or 1 month’s notice (above 60 years), as applicable.
