The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRB) have released the RRB JE Admit Card 2026 for the first stage Computer Based Test (CBT-1) under CEN No. 04/2026 on 23 October 2026. The admit card, officially called the e-call letter, is issued for the recruitment of Junior Engineer (JE), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS) and Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant (CMA) posts across the Indian Railways. Candidates whose CBT-1 is scheduled on 27 October 2026 can download their hall tickets from 23 October, while candidates with the exam on 28 October 2026 can download theirs from 24 October. Candidates who applied for this recruitment can download their e-call letter from their regional RRB website by logging in with their registration number and password. Read the official notice for the examination schedule, shift timings and all other instructions.

CEN 04/2026 covers recruitment through the 21 Railway Recruitment Boards across India. The original notification announced 3,993 posts, and a subsequent corrigendum added 36 posts (35 Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant and 1 Junior Engineer), taking the revised total to 4,029. The CBT-1 is a screening test, and the final selection is done on the basis of performance in CBT-2, subject to successful document verification and meeting the prescribed medical standards.

The CBT-1 is an objective-type computer-based test conducted in three shifts on each exam day. The detailed subject-wise pattern, marking scheme and syllabus are given in the official CEN 04/2026 notification, and candidates should check the notice on their regional RRB website before the examination.

Candidates must follow the reporting time, gate closing time and shift printed on their individual admit cards in case of any difference from the general schedule. Entry without a valid admit card and an Aadhaar-based identity document will not be permitted.
