  1. Shortlisting of applications: NPCC screens all online applications against the eligibility conditions of Advertisement No. 500518/Contract/2026/III. Only candidates who meet the educational qualification, age limit and other conditions are shortlisted for the next stage.
  2. Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates are called for a personal interview. The interview panel assesses technical knowledge of the discipline, suitability for site or office work, communication skills and overall fitness for the contract role.
  3. Document verification: Candidates verify their original certificates — degree or diploma, mark sheets, category certificates, experience certificates and identity proof — before or after the interview, as directed by NPCC.
  4. Final selection and offer: A merit list is prepared from the interview performance of candidates who clear document verification, and contract offers are issued to the selected candidates.

The advertisement provides that selection will be through a personal interview, or through any other appropriate method decided by NPCC. Candidates should therefore prepare for an interview-focused process and keep their project experience, technical knowledge and certificates ready. No written examination pattern has been announced in the available sources; any update will appear through a corrigendum or notice on the official website.
