A total of 77 posts are advertised under Employment Notification No. 05/2026 — 45 Management Trainee posts and 32 Assistant Officer posts. The Management Trainee posts cover streams including Commercial and Operations, Accounts, Technical, Management Information Systems, Civil, and Personnel and Administration. The stream-wise split of the 45 Management Trainee posts was not confirmed in the sources used for this post, so it is not given here — candidates should check the vacancy table in the official notification for the post-code-wise distribution. The Assistant Officer posts are divided as 20 in Commercial and Operations and 2 in Accounts.

The age limit for Management Trainee posts is 18 to 28 years and for Assistant Officer posts is 18 to 32 years, calculated as on 31 August 2026. Age relaxation is available as per the rules for reserved categories. The notification also prescribes an overall ceiling of 50 years including all relaxations, as reported. Candidates should check the age relaxation provisions in the official notification for their category before the examination.

Management Trainees are appointed in the Industrial Dearness Allowance (IDA) pay scale of Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 1,60,000 with 3% annual increment, and Assistant Officers in the IDA pay scale of Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 1,36,000 with 3% annual increment. The approximate annual cost-to-company figures given above are as reported. Management Trainees must execute a service agreement-cum-bond to serve the corporation for a minimum period of 3 years after completion of training, with a bond amount of Rs. 2 lakh plus 12% interest per annum, as reported.

As per the official notification, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree with 50% marks along with the relevant experience prescribed for the post. For Assistant Officer (Commercial and Operations), relevant experience of 2 to 4 years is reported as required. For Management Trainee (Commercial and Operations), a Graduate degree with 55% marks plus a two-year MBA or equivalent post-graduate degree or diploma with 60% marks specialising in Marketing, International Business, Operations, Logistics or Supply Chain Management is reported as required, as per the official notification.

The qualification, minimum-marks bar and experience requirement change from one post code to the next, so candidates must read the row for their own post code in the official notification before the examination. The notification carries the full conditions — qualification, experience, minimum-marks bars, fee, age relaxation and the scheme of examination — for all twelve post codes under this recruitment.

  1. Computer Based Test (CBT) — online objective-type examination on 21 November 2026.
  2. Group Discussion and/or Interview — for Management Trainee posts only, as decided by CONCOR. The notification does not prescribe a Group Discussion or Interview stage for Assistant Officer posts; selection for Assistant Officer is based on performance in the CBT.
  3. Document Verification of the shortlisted candidates.
  4. Medical Examination before appointment.

Final selection is made on the basis of performance in the prescribed stages for each post, subject to document verification and medical fitness. Candidates should keep all original documents ready for verification as per the instructions in the admit card and the official notification.

The computer-based test consists of 100 objective-type multiple-choice questions carrying 100 marks, to be completed in 90 minutes. Eligible Persons with Benchmark Disabilities using a scribe are given 120 minutes. There is negative marking of 0.25 mark for every incorrect answer.
