The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), India’s apex development bank for agriculture and rural development, has released Advertisement No. 04 for the engagement of 16 Specialists on contract in the Chief Information Security Office (CISO) and the Department of Supervision (DoS) – CSITE at its Head Office in Mumbai. The posts include SOC Analyst, Information Security Analyst, Network Security Analyst, Ethical Hacker and Penetration Tester, Lead Auditor, Cyber and Network Security Specialist, IT Infrastructure and Banking Specialist, and Cyber Security Analyst. Online applications are open from 09 October 2026 to 26 October 2026, and candidates must apply through the official NABARD website. The minimum qualification is a B.E./B.Tech or MCA degree with the prescribed professional certifications and experience. The fee is exclusive of applicable GST and is paid online only — through Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards or Mobile Wallets. The fee is non-refundable.

The remuneration is consolidated and ranges from Rs. 12,00,000 to Rs. 40,00,000 per annum depending on the post. Annual increments of up to 10% may be granted on satisfactory performance. Tax will be deducted at source as per the Income Tax Act, and the specialists are not entitled to superannuation benefits like Provident Fund, Pension or Gratuity.

Eligibility conditions, including educational qualification, experience and age limit, are determined as on 01 October 2026. Indian citizens meeting the prescribed criteria for the post they choose may apply.

SOC (Security Operations Centre) Analyst, Information Security Analyst, Network Security Analyst, Ethical Hacker & Penetration Tester: B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, Information Science, Electrical or Cyber Security; OR MCA; OR a Post Graduate degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Cyber Security / Information Security / Computer Engineering / Information Systems / Software Engineering / Electronics & Communication Engineering, with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade. In addition, a mandatory professional certification is required for each post: CompTIA Security+ / CEH or equivalent cyber security certification for the SOC Analyst; CISA / CISM / CISSP or equivalent certification in Information Security / IT Risk / Compliance for the Information Security Analyst; CCNP Security or equivalent certification in network / infrastructure security for the Network Security Analyst; and CEH / OSCP / ECSA or equivalent certification in penetration testing / offensive security for the Ethical Hacker & Penetration Tester.

Lead Auditor: B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering or Information Technology; OR a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a Master’s degree in Computer Science / IT / ECE, along with mandatory certifications — CISA plus at least one of CISSP, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, or Lead Implementer.

Cyber & Network Security Specialist: B.E./B.Tech in CSE, ECE or IT; OR a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a Master’s in Computer Science / IT / ECE, along with CISA plus at least one of CCNA, CCNP, CEH or CISM.

IT Infrastructure & Banking Specialist: B.E./B.Tech in CSE, ECE or IT; OR a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a Master’s in Computer Science / IT / ECE, along with CISA plus at least one of CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, or PCI DSS implementation certification (PCIP / ISA / QSA / CPISI).

Cyber Security Analyst: B.E./B.Tech in CSE, ECE or IT; OR a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a Master’s in Computer Science / IT / ECE, along with at least one certification from CEH, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, Database Certification (Oracle / Microsoft SQL), or Cloud Certification (AWS / GCP / Microsoft Azure / Oracle).

The official notification prescribes post-wise experience requirements as well — candidates must read Advertisement No. 04 carefully before applying, since applications without the required certification or experience will be rejected at shortlisting.

Age relaxation is applicable to reserved categories as per Government of India rules. Candidates should check the official notification for the exact relaxation provisions.

The engagement is on contract for a period of 2 years, extendable by one year at a time up to a maximum of 5 years. Annual increments of up to 10% can be granted based on satisfactory performance at the Bank’s discretion. Quarters may be allotted on request and availability against a licence fee of 0.5% of remuneration, or a fixed HRA of 10% of remuneration if quarters are not allotted. The contract can be terminated by either party by giving one month’s notice in advance.
